The new Thunderbolt blades are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also substantially improve the visibility of the rotor tip in all orientations.

The variable profile along the radius of the rotor makes the “SAB Thunderbolt Blades” 20% more efficient in comparison to the existing “SAB black line blades” and provides excellent stability to the whole helicopter without compromising rotor agility.  The chord varies along the radius of rotor blade (Shorter at the root, larger at tip) which provides improved thrust, promoting harder and more precise maneuvers in flight.

“Thunderbolt Blades” have a double layer of unidirectional carbon fiber, as well as a steel safety wire along the leading edge, which together improve safety and increase the overall rigidity of the blades.
